What is NCWEB board of Delhi University, how girls take admission in it

Delhi University Non-Collegiate Women’s Board of Education: The Non-Collegiate Women’s Board of Education is a part of Delhi University. It was established by DU to promote women education. Only female students residing in Delhi can take admission in this. Students enrolled thereby are required to attend classes only on Saturdays, Sundays or only Sundays and academic holidays of Delhi University. Students could easily do their work during the rest of the day, so they could not get admission in regular college. Through this (Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board, NCWEB DU) female students can take university exams with it but without attending regular colleges. Students living in Delhi can do UG, PG courses from here. There is no opportunity to do another full-time course from here.

Admission to these courses is available
Only BA, B.Com degree and post graduate MA, MSC courses are available under NCWEB for women candidates only. Along with graduation from here, you can also pursue professional courses like foreign language learning, journalism, advertising, programming, fine arts.

The group started with 3 students
NCWEB was founded in 1943. The circle started in September 1944 with 3 students. According to information given on www.du.ac.in, more than 24,000 female students are currently studying through the Board of Non-College Women’s Education.

Admission is given on the basis of cut off
The board is able to admit only 20% of the applicants. Till now admission was given on the basis of cut off. Students are expected to attend weekend classes without taking leave. Minimum 66% attendance is mandatory to appear in the exam. The examinations of the entrants from this board are conducted along with regular college students.

These facilities are also available
NCWEB provides DTC pass facility for students. Provides financial assistance and book loan facility for the academic year to the needy and deserving students. There are 50 days of classes in a year for those taking admission from this board. Classes run from 9.00 am to 3.30 pm at the undergraduate centers. There are 6 periods in a day. The pass percentage of non-collegiate students is also similar to that of regular students.

Admission updates for 2022-2023
University of Delhi has released DU Board of Non-Collegiate Women’s Education, NCWEB 4th Cut off for BA and B.Com on the official website entry.uod.ac.in. Online admissions are starting from 23 November 2022. College will accept applications till 25 November 2022 at 5 PM. Last date for fee deposit is 26 November 2022 till 5 PM.
