UPSC Exam Form: Filling UPSC form is not easy, remember important details to avoid mistakes

New Delhi (UPSC Exam Form,, Central Public Service Commission Civil Services Pre Exam Time Table has been announced. Application process for UPSC CSE Prelims exam will start from 1st February 2023 at Interested candidates can apply for this exam which will be held for government jobs till 21 February 2023.

While filling the UPSC IAS Application Form 2023 (UPSC IAS Application Form 2023), candidates also have to submit some important documents. Check out the list-
1- Valid email id and mobile number
2- Scanned photo and signature as per dimensions mentioned by UPSC
3- Valid photo ID details
4- Other required documents (if applicable)
5- Personal and educational details
6- Fee Payment Details (Debit/Credit Card etc.)

Pay the fee while filling the form
While filling the Union Public Service Commission exam form, candidates have to pay the application fee (UPSC Exam Form Fee) as per their category.
General/ OBC/ EWS – Rs. 100
SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/PWD/Women – Fee is exempted
Application fee of UPSC form can be paid online (Debit Card/Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Card/Mobile Wallet) or through Bank Challan.

How to fill UPSC form? (UPSC IAS Application Form 2023)
1st step- Go to the official website of UPSC –
Step 2- On the home page, in the ‘What’s New’ section, click on the link ‘Exam Notification: Civil Services (Primary) Exam, 2023’.
Step 3- Civil Services (Primary) Exam, 2023 Notification PDF link and UPSC IAS Application Form 2023 link will appear on the screen.
Step 4- Click on the link in the document title to download UPSC IAS Notification 2023. Read the notification carefully to fill IAS Application Form 2023.
Step 5- Click on the link ‘Click Here’ to fill IAS Application Form 2023. It will direct you to the UPSC Civil Services Application 2023 registration page.
Step 6- Click on UPSC IAS 2023 Part 1 Registration link. A new screen will open, with instructions to fill the Online UPSC IAS Application Form 2023 (UPSC IAS Application Form 2023). Read all the instructions carefully and press the ‘Yes’ button at the bottom of the screen.
Step 7- UPSC Application Form for Part 1 will appear on the screen. Fill all the required details asked in the form and click on ‘Continue’ button.
Step 8- Fill in the details of the certificate which will be carried on the day of examination. Details of Exam Center and Optional Subject and Language also have to be filled for UPSC IAS 2023 Mains Exam. Then click on ‘Continue’ button.
Step 9- A preview of the details will be displayed on the screen. After checking all the details properly click on submit button. You will get a registration slip, download it for future reference.
Step 10- Now click on Part 2 Registration link. A new pop up screen will open, enter Registration ID, Date of Birth and Captcha details and press submit button.
Step 11- You can pay the UPSC IAS application fee online or offline as per your convenience. After paying the UPSC IAS Application Form 2023 fee, click on ‘Continue’ button.
Step 12- Upload photo, signature in .jpeg format. Photo identity card has to be uploaded in PDF format. After uploading click on ‘Upload Image’ and press ‘Continue’.
Step 13- Now verify the photo ID card number given in step 9 and select the pre-examination city from the drop down menu. Read the UPSC CSE 2023 Announcement and click on the ‘I have read and agree to the announcement’ button to submit the UPSC IAS Application Form 2023 (UPSC IAS Application Form 2023).
