A provision of Rs 3,582.51 crore was made in the financial year 2022-23. While an estimated provision of Rs 5,431.56 crore has been made in the financial year 2023-24. For Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Sufficient funds have been allocated.
The scheme is applicable to all the Armed Forces of India and their families. It is a cashless healthcare facility. It provides good service. Exemption-exemption-exemption for Agniveer Fund in the Union Budget (EEE) Also rated.
It has been announced. An increase of 15.5 percent has been registered in the Defense Pension Budget in the financial year 2023-24. This amount for this financial year is Rs 1,38,205 crore. A provision of Rs 1,19,696 crore was made for this purpose in the last financial year.
Apart from this, an increase of 28 per cent has been recorded in RE 2022-23 on a fund of Rs 1,53,415 crore. This increase is Rs 33,718 crore. Under this scheme adequate amount of money has been provided for the pensioners of Armed Forces and their families under One Rank One Pension. A fund of Rs 28,138 crore has been given for this.
