Elon Musk targets employees again, sends an email asking for feedback

News Desk: After firing thousands of employees from Twitter in one stroke, Elon Musk has sent another email. Musk has given Twitter employees until Thursday evening to remain a part of the company. It is written in the email that to make Twitter 2.0 a success, the employees will have to work hard. Also, one has to work hard for success.

Musk said in an email that Twitter would be mostly engineering-based and that most of the staff would be “coding” the team. The billionaire entrepreneur has laid off a significant number of employees since buying Twitter for $44 billion in late October. They are now planning to lay off some contract workers as well.

In an email, Musk asked employees if they wanted to be part of the “new Twitter”. They have said that if the employees want to remain a part of the company then click on the link given as ‘yes’ in the email. According to the email, staffers have until 5 p.m. Thursday to respond to the link. Employees who do not respond will be given notice of termination for three months.

“Thank you for your efforts to make Twitter a success, whatever decision you make,” Musk continued. Musk had previously advised Twitter employees to work 40 hours a week or more. Addressing a business platform, he had said, ‘Be careful what you wish for.’ He said that I do not know how many people want to be like me. He said, ‘I work very hard myself. I work from morning to evening, seven days a week.
