New steps are being taken soon in the direction of modernization of madrassas in Uttarakhand. Here the dress code is being implemented for the students studying in Madrasas. Now these students will not be able to go to madrasa wearing kurta-pajama. Because from next year, the dress code will be implemented in all the 103 madrasas under the jurisdiction of the Waqf Board in the state. On the other hand, Waqf Board President Shadab Shams said that a proposal is being prepared for this. Efforts are being made to implement it as soon as possible.
Actually, dress code will be implemented in 103 madrasas of the state. Apart from this, NCERT books will also be implemented in all madrassas. There are 103 madrasas under the jurisdiction of the Waqf Board in Uttarakhand.
At the same time, Shadab Shams said that preparations are on to run madrassas on the lines of modern schools. In the first phase, dress code will be implemented in seven madrassas including two in Dehradun, two in Udham Singh Nagar, two in Haridwar and one in Nainital.
It is not yet known whether the madrassa children will be given uniforms by the government or the students will have to buy them themselves.
At the same time, it has been decided to implement dress code for the first time in Madrasas of the state. Where the board will soon send the budget proposal for the dress of the students to the central government in this regard.
In 2021, the BJP National Minority Front appointed Shadab Shams, a BJP leader from Uttarakhand, as the in-charge of West Bengal. BJP leader Shadab Shams is also the vice-chairman of the 15-point program committee.
The Waqf Board takes care of the proper maintenance and management of Islamic buildings, institutions and lands. Waqf Board is a statutory body constituted under the judicial system. The Waqf Board can use its property as per its convenience.
