Delhi University: DU will not charge fees for these students, know who can benefit and how

DUFSS Application, Delhi University Scholarship: It is now easier for economically weaker students to study in Delhi University. The university has run a financial aid scheme to help such students. By which college fees will not be charged from poor students.

Financial assistance is provided for two categories under this scheme of the university. If the annual income of the student’s family is less than 4 lakhs then no fee will be charged. On the other hand, if the annual income of the student’s family is less than 8 lakh rupees, only 50% fee will be charged from the student. However, no exemption will be given in hostel fee and examination fee.

We inform you that the application process for this scheme of DU has started and the last date of application is fixed as 12th December. In such case, if you are from economically weaker section and want to avail this scheme of DU, then you can download the application by visiting the website

Candidates will need these documents while filling the scheme form.

  • Annual income certificate of the family, which is for the most recent financial year and issued by Tehsildar or equivalent officer.
  • Copies of parents’ income tax returns
  • Exam Pass Mark Sheet.
  • A true copy
  • Copy of fee deposit
  • Passbook
