Changed rules for completing research in PhD, know what changed

UGC Rules and Regulations 2022: In the notification issued by the UGC Regulations 2022, it is stated that the Research Advisory Committee will decide the examination and title of theses. The committee will also assist PhD students in research. Along with this, the students will also be reviewed by the committee. In the notification issued, it is said that the credit system will now be implemented in the PhD course. It is stated that 12 credits are required to complete courses taken during the Ph.D. Students must collect a minimum of ten credits or 55 points to complete the course.

Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU) is also discussing the implementation of new rules after the publication of UGC Regulations 2022. According to the new rules, the research students will have to report their work before the research advisory committee every semester.

According to the information given by Prof. Ram Kumar, Registrar of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, the new rules of UGC will be implemented from this session.
