CBSE Board Exam 2023: How is this year’s board exam different from last year? Know some important differences

New Delhi (CBSE Board Exam 2023, CBSE Exam), due to corona virus, the education of children has been greatly affected. Last year, the board exams were conducted differently due to online education for several months. However, due to improvement in the situation this year, the CBSE board exam will be conducted on the old pattern (CBSE Board Exam Pattern).

Students appearing for CBSE Board Class 10th and 12th Exam 2023 are busy these days with final revision (CBSE Class 10 12 Exam 2023). However, they should also note the difference between last year’s and this year’s exam pattern. Know how CBSE Board Exam 2023 will be different from 2022.

The board exams were conducted in two terms
In 2022 CBSE board exams were conducted in two terms. The first term examination was conducted in November-December 2021 in objective mode. Then the second term was conducted from April to June 2022 on subjective basis. But in 2023 CBSE board exam will be held only once. The board exams are likely to start from the last week of February 2023 to the first week of March.

This year the number of students has decreased
The number of candidates for CBSE board in 2023 has decreased as compared to 2022. Last year a total of 35,33,978 students appeared in CBSE board 10th and 12th. Out of them 20,93,978 students appeared for 10th and 14.44 lakh students appeared for 12th. At the same time, a total of 34 lakh students will appear for the board exams in 2023. Out of them 18 lakh students will appear for 10th and 12 lakh students for 12th.

Differences in covid protocol
Last year, the country was caught in the grip of the Covid-19 virus. Covid protocols were followed in schools and students were ordered to wear masks and use sanitizers. But this year, the incidence of corona virus infection has decreased. In view of this, this restriction is likely to be relaxed in the 2023 exam.

The exam will be on full syllabus
In the CBSE board exam held in the year 2021-22, not only the syllabus was reduced (CBSE Board Syllabus) but many facilities were given to the students by dividing it into two posts. But this year, since the classes are going on in the school, the exams will be held like the pre-Covid era. So these exams will be based on the entire syllabus.
