New Delhi (Education Budget 2023), the Union Budget has been presented on 01 February (Union Budget 2023-24). In this budget, a lot has come into the hands of the youth. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has also emphasized on employment and development in the medical and agricultural sectors (Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman). Therefore, new employment opportunities will be available to youth across the country.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced many schemes for the youth in her budget speech (Budget Live). The Union Budget 2023 is divided into 7 parts – Inclusive Growth, Reaching the Final Stage, Infrastructure and Investment, Potential Development and Utilization, Green Growth, Youth Power and Financial Sector. 1- Government plans to promote tourism. For this, the program ‘Dekho Apa Desh’ is going on. Through this, there is a plan to provide employment to the youth in the field of tourism.
2- Modi government is promoting agriculture. In the budget speech, the finance minister said that startups in the agriculture sector will be encouraged in India. Research and jobs will also increase in this sector.
3- This budget is very pleasant for those who want to pursue a career in medical. 157 new nursing colleges will be opened across the country.
4- Public and private sector medical faculty, private sector research team will be provided necessary facilities for research in ICMR labs.
5- Investment in research will increase.
6- Development of medical devices will be encouraged. For this, multidisciplinary courses will be started in engineering and medical fields.
7- The method of training teachers will change. Teacher training will be improved with the help of innovative pedagogy, ICT, technology etc. For this, district education and training institutes will be equipped with facilities.
8- National digital library will be enriched. States will also be encouraged to establish physical libraries at the Panchayat level. The resources of the National Digital Library will be made available there. Children and youth will benefit from it.
9- 38,800 teachers and staff will be recruited in next 3 years in Eklavya Adarsh Residential Schools. This recruitment will be done by the central government. There are a total of 740 Eklavya Model Residential Schools across the country. About three and a half lakh tribal students are studying in this.
10-3 Centers for Excellence will be established in the highest educational institutions of the country. It will focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI).
11- 100 labs will be started in engineering colleges to develop apps using 5G.
Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 4.0 will be launched. Industry partnerships will provide skill training and job training to lakhs of youth over the next 3 years. Coding, AI, robotics, mechatronics, IoT, 3D printing and drones will be included in the new age curriculum and soft skills.
12- 30 Skill India International Centers will be set up in different states to prepare youth for international opportunities.
